Founded in 1982 with a team of 44 staff, DCS is an information technology company that provides clients with a comprehensive portfolio of products and professional services. We offer services for all aspects of computer systems, from conception and design to implementation and ongoing technical support.
Our offerings include IT hardware, cyber security, SAAS, cloud, accounting software and add-ons, CRM software and bespoke solutions. We provide services to cover all stages of an IT project from small to medium-sized companies, mainly across Yorkshire and the surrounding area.
An opportunity has arisen to join our sales team; consideration will be given to either a junior person with a good knowledge of IT looking for a career in IT sales or a more experienced account manager looking for a new challenge.
The role is office-based in Boston Spa, with an option for some remote work following a successful probationary period. The position is responsible for preparing, managing and processing day-to-day enquiries from our customers as required. In addition, the role will also involve account management for a selection of our existing customers and new customers introduced by the successful applicant.
Both office and field based, the sales staff at DCS have the backup of a hugely experienced technical team, and training will be provided where necessary. Experience in generating your own personal leads would be an advantage, but you must be professionally presented, confident and have excellent communication skills.
DCS have a track record of promoting from within and has an excellent staff retention record, with half of our current staff have been with us for 15 years or more.
